United for A Cure, Inc. is a 501 C3 non-profit organization started to honor two of its founding members, both of which are breast cancer survivors. The organization’s board is made up of Branchburg residents: Renee Altomonte, Rachael Furino, Holly Gibson, Sandy Papavero, Cheryl Sadowski, Danielle VanSyckel and Janine McTernan. We began our mission close to home, with the hope to raise cancer awareness within our community, inspire others to donate their time & talents and to raise funds to support cancer research organizations, all through various fundraising events. An example of organizations we’ve supported are this year’s recipients, the Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation and the Esophageal Cancer Education Foundation. As we grow, we hope to inspire more people to help fund similar lifesaving cancer efforts.
